(1) COST
The cost is $90.00 per student for the week, or maximum $250.00 per family plus a user fee of $22.00 each. This fee does not cover the actual cost of $135.00/ camper; therefore, the camp is subsidized. Squirts are charged $15.00 each to help defray the cost of their program. The user fee of $22.00 per camper is forwarded to Manitoulin Main Camp.
(2) COOKING
All cooking will be done under the supervision of the Camp Counsellors. All foods will be ordered in bulk and a schedule for meals will be provided. All cooking will done at sites.
(3) FIRES
There will be a campfire at the Halah on occasion throughout the week. There are to be no fires at your campsite.
(4) RESPONSIBILITY
a) Every student must have a medical consent form filled out and returned before the Camp.
b) Each pupil is assigned to a counsellor. The counsellor will act as a Big Brother or Big Sister and should be regarded with the same respect shown to a parent.
c) If discipline problems should arise, these will be referred by the counsellor to one of the members of the committee. If the student continues to be uncooperative he/she will be returned home. The Youth Camp is a place to learn and primary attention will be given to Bible Study. Students who come are expected to have a commitment to this goal. It is for this reason that absence from any class or function must be with the approval of a counsellor.
(5) TENTING
All students will tent with their respective counsellors. Boys not allowed in girls tents & vice/versa. They will share the duties relating to washrooms, food preparation, dishes, etc. Duty rosters will be prepared.
(6) DRESS
Attendees should dress appropriately for all Bible Camp functions. Females are required to wear dresses or skirts for classes and evening programs. Tops should have shoulder straps at least 3 fingers wide, and necklines that are no lower than 3 fingers from the base of the neck to the top of the garment (front and back). Strapless clothing and bare midriffs are not allowed. (including swimsuits). Skirt hems should be knee length and any slits should extend no higher than the knee. Males are to wear long pants to classes, and avoid ripped or faded jeans. Males are required to wear shirts at all times except at the beach. For all, no undergarments or midriffs should be visible, either when standing, sitting, or bending. Any slogans should reflect a godly character. Swimming attire and shorts should be modest. If you have any questions in this regard, ask a counselor.
(7) SWIMMING
Only at designated area and time. Further details will be provided upon arrival.
(8) BOUNDARIES
Attendees must stay within the Bible Camp grounds. Any attendees who are found trespassing will be asked to leave the camp.
(9) GENERAL
The Youth Camp will follow the same rules as the Adult Bible Camp.
